Florida sand does not forgive a rushed pour
Most failed slabs around here didn't fail because of the concrete. They failed because of what was, or wasn't, underneath it, and how fast it was finished in the heat.

The base gets the attention
Sand is stripped, replaced where it's soft, and compacted in lifts. A slab is only ever as flat as the ground you set it on.

Rebar and mesh, not hope
Steel tied on chairs and lifted into the middle of the pour, where it actually does something. Joints cut on schedule, not next week.

Water leaves the slab
Slope and drainage are planned before the forms go up, so summer storms run off instead of standing against your foundation.

Cured, not just poured
We finish to the weather in front of us and leave you a cure schedule in writing, including exactly when you can park on it.

We walk the area with you, measure, check drainage and access, and talk through finishes. Free, and no pressure to sign.

A line-item quote: thickness, reinforcement, square footage, finish, demo and haul-off. Flat price, not a moving target.

Prep & pour
Demo, grade, form and steel go in first. We schedule the truck around the forecast and protect what's next to the pour.

Cut, cure & clean up
Control joints cut on time, site swept, forms pulled, and a written cure schedule so you know when to walk, park and seal.

Questions we get on every estimate
01How long before I can park on a new driveway?
Foot traffic after about 24–48 hours, vehicles after 7 days, heavy trucks or trailers after 28. Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks after it looks finished. We leave the exact dates for your pour in writing. TODO: confirm against your own standard.
02Will my concrete crack?
Every slab moves. The contractor's job is to control where it shows: proper thickness, reinforcement, a compacted base, and control joints cut at the right spacing and on time. Hairline cracking at a joint is normal; a slab splitting across the middle is a prep problem.
03What does a driveway cost?
It depends on square footage, thickness, reinforcement, demo of what's there now, truck access, and the finish you want. We price per job after seeing it, and the quote is a flat line-item price. TODO: add a real starting range if you want to pre-qualify callers.
04Do you handle tear-out of the old slab?
Yes. Demo, breakup, load-out and disposal are quoted as line items so you can see exactly what that portion costs.
05Do I need a permit?
Often yes for driveways, aprons and structural slabs, and it varies by county and by what's in the right-of-way. We tell you what your job needs and handle the pull where we're licensed to. TODO: confirm which counties you pull permits in.
06Do you work as a sub for general contractors?
Yes. We take commercial flatwork and site concrete as a subcontractor: parking lots, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, footings, dock and equipment pads. We can work to your schedule and provide certificates of insurance before mobilising. TODO: add your typical crew size and bonding position if you carry one.
07Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Licensed in Florida (#CBC-0000000) and carrying general liability and workers' comp. We're glad to send certificates before work starts. TODO: replace with the real licence number.
